Law360, New York (October 24, 2011, 7:01 PM ET) -- A former administrator of the Sandhogs Union's benefit fund pled guilty in New York federal court on Friday to embezzling tens of millions of dollars to finance her lavish lifestyle, federal prosecutors said.
Appearing before U.S. District Judge John G. Koeltl, Melissa King copped to one count of theft and embezzlement over the employee benefit plans she oversaw through her company, King Care LLC, and one count of filing false tax returns, according to U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Preet Bharara....
