Hughes Adds 9-Story Office To Texas Planned Community

Law360, New York (October 25, 2011, 2:20 PM EDT) -- The Howard Hughes Corp. is launching construction for a nine-story office building in a planned community it owns near Houston to boost growth in the business and residential development, the company said Tuesday.

The Woodlands Development Co., a unit of the real estate development company founded by Texas billionaire and aviator Howard Hughes, will seek to complete the 192,000-square-foot building in the Waterway Square District of the living development by 2013, the company said in a statement.
