Law360, New York (October 26, 2011, 7:57 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday refused to toss part of a suit brought by Warner Bros. division DC Comics against the heirs of the creators of Superman and their attorney in a battle over the rights to the Man of Steel.
U.S. District Judge Otis D. Wright II declined to grant the defendants’ motion to strike part of DC’s claims under California’s Anti-SLAPP statute, which is designed to reduce meritless and harassing litigation, according to the order.
