Bosch Sues Rivals In ITC Over Wiper Blade Patents

Law360, New York (October 27, 2011, 6:14 PM ET) -- Auto parts maker Robert Bosch LLC filed a patent suit Wednesday in the U.S. International Trade Commission alleging that numerous companies, including RainEater LLC, have infringed nine patents for windshield wiper blades.

According to the suit, the patents cover beam-type wiper blades, which, unlike conventional blades, use an elastic support element to evenly distribute the pressure applied by the arm to ensure a smooth wipe.
