ABS Capital Grabs $500M For New Investments

Law360, New York (October 31, 2011, 2:24 PM EDT) -- Private equity firm ABS Capital Partners raised $500 million in funding to make new investments in companies seeking to expand in sectors including business and education services, health care, and technology, the firm said Monday.

ABS raised the money for the firm's seventh fund from new investors Top Tier Capital Partners and charitable foundation the Wellcome Trust, as well as longtime investors including Abbott Capital, Johns Hopkins University, and WP Global Partners, the firm said in a statement.
