Judge Scraps Wackenhut Guards' ERISA Case

Law360, New York (November 01, 2011, 3:38 PM ET) -- A Nevada federal judge on Monday threw out the final remaining claims in a proposed class action by retired Wackenhut Services Inc. security guards accusing the companies involved in administering their pension plan of violating the Employee Retirement Income Security Act by failing to send out required notices and plan descriptions.
