Law360, New York (November 03, 2011, 1:17 PM ET) -- Popular coffee brewer manufacturer Keurig Inc. hit Rogers Family Co. with a lawsuit Wednesday in Massachusetts federal court, claiming its single-serving coffee cartridges designed to be compatible with Keurig brewers infringe three patents.
Keurig alleges Rogers' OneCup coffee cartridges sold under the San Francisco Bay brand are specifically described on the company's website as being compatible with Keurig coffee brewers, and that they have no other use that would not be a violation of Keurig's patents.
