Spanish Tech Co. Beats Apple IP Suit Over Tablet Imports

Law360, New York (November 2, 2011, 4:39 PM EDT) -- A Spanish electronics company has won the dismissal of Apple Inc.'s suit claiming its imported NT-K tablets violate the iPad maker's intellectual property, and will pursue an antitrust action against the technology giant, it said Wednesday.

After roughly a year of customs litigation, Nuevas Tecnologias y Energias Catala said it had won an end to the ban on its imported NT-K tablets, which use Google Inc.'s Android operating system.
