Former FDA Chief Counsel Joins Venable As Partner

Law360, New York (November 2, 2011, 6:30 PM EDT) -- Venable LLP said Wednesday that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s former chief counsel had joined the firm’s litigation and regulatory divisions as a partner who will work in its Baltimore and Washington offices.

Ralph Tyler, who has also served as Maryland’s insurance commissioner, joined Venable on Monday after about 1 1/2 years with the FDA and more than 35 years in government and private practice, Venable said.
