Law360, New York (November 02, 2011, 6:47 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced Wednesday that the agency would be seeking public comment for planned amendments to the whistleblower provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
OSHA said that on Thursday, it would publish in the Federal Register modifications to Sarbanes-Oxley based on changes mandated by the 2010 Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act that expanded the original bill's protections for corporate whistleblowers.
