Hollister Defeats Class Cert. Bid In Gift Card Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (November 03, 2011, 4:54 PM ET) -- A California judge refused Thursday to certify a class of up to 37,000 Hollister Co. customers who claim the clothing retailer violated a state consumer protection law by handing out limited-life promotional gift cards without including an expiration date.
