Law360, New York (November 04, 2011, 7:31 PM ET) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office ruled the National Archives and Records Administration should reconsider its awarding of a scanner contract to Micro Records Co. because the company substituted in nonequivalent equipment, according to a decision published Thursday.
In sustaining a bid protest from micrographic equipment maker MEDI-e-ImageData Corp., the GAO also held NARA should review its request for quotations because Micro failed to deliver the appropriate equipment by the 21-day deadline the agency had specified.
