Corzine Resigns From MF Global Amid Scandal

Law360, New York (November 4, 2011, 10:13 AM EDT) -- Former New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine resigned Friday as CEO of bankrupt broker-dealer MF Global Holdings Ltd., shortly before reports began swirling that regulators had found client funds whose disappearance sparked a criminal investigation.

News that MF Global client funds had been found at JPMorgan Chase & Co. followed Corzine's announcement Friday that he would leave his post at MF Global and not seek severance pay.
