Jenner Reps General Dynamics' $360M Force Protection Buy

Law360, New York (November 7, 2011, 1:54 PM EST) -- General Dynamics Corp. struck a $360 million deal to acquire Force Protection Inc., which makes ballistic- and blast-protected vehicles for the U.S. military, with plans to add the manufacturer to its General Dynamics Land Systems unit, the company said Monday.

The deal, which will see South Carolina-based Force Protection shareholders take in $5.52 per share of common stock, will bolster General Dynamics Land Systems' production capabilities. The Sterling Heights, Mich.-based unit manufactures Abrams main battle tanks and Stryker infantry combat vehicles.
