Law360, New York (November 07, 2011, 6:02 PM ET) -- Private equity firm TA Associates has sold American Access Care LLC, the kidney treatment network it bought for $130 million in 2006, to Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA, the world's largest dialysis operator, the firm announced Monday.
During its five years as a TA Associates portfolio company, American Access expanded from 14 to 29 freestanding centers and more than quadrupled the number of services it delivered to end-stage kidney patients, the firm said.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
