Obama Selects Former USTR Official For ITC Post

Law360, New York (November 7, 2011, 6:58 PM EST) -- President Barack Obama on Friday tapped Meredith M. Broadbent — a former Office of the U.S. Trade Representative official and U.S. House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee staffer — to join the U.S. International Trade Commission. 

The White House said it planned to nominate Broadbent, who most recently served as a senior adviser for Washington think tank Center for Strategic and International Studies, to become a member of the agency.
