St. Jude Vascular Device Patent Protected By Law: Judge

Law360, New York (November 08, 2011, 9:15 PM ET) -- An Arkansas federal judge ruled Tuesday that St. Jude Medical Inc.'s patent for a vascular closure device is protected by a federal safe harbor provision against allegations of double patenting brought by a company St. Jude sued for infringement.
