Law360, New York (November 09, 2011, 8:48 PM ET) -- The Second Circuit on Wednesday brought Verizon Communications Inc. and AT&T Inc. a step closer to carrying high-definition New York sports broadcasts that now exclusively run on Cablevision Systems Corp. channels, denying a Cablevision appeal.
A three-judge panel refused Cablevision's emergency request that it stay a Federal Communications Commission decision ordering the cable company not to block Verizon and AT&T from accessing HD feeds of New York Knicks, Rangers and other games that run on a sister company's channels.
