Chinese Importers Challenge Review Of Electrode Duties

Law360, New York (November 9, 2011, 7:43 PM EST) -- A group of Chinese electrode producers lodged a suit in the U.S. Court of International Trade on Wednesday, challenging the results of the U.S. Department of Commerce's administrative review of an anti-dumping duty order on graphite electrodes from China.

Fushun Jinly Petrochemical Carbon Co. Ltd., Beijing Fangda Carbon Tech Co. Ltd., Chengdu Rongguang Carbon Co. Ltd. and their subsidiaries claim that Commerce incorrectly calculated the rate of anti-dumping duties placed on imports that were brought into the U.S. between August 2008 and January 2010.
