Law360, New York (November 09, 2011, 8:33 PM ET) -- BP Solar International Inc.'s general counsel has moved over to Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP's San Francisco office, boosting its expertise in renewable energy, project finance, and mergers and acquisitions, the firm announced Wednesday.
Akin Gump's newest partner Baird Fogel has experience in all facets of the solar industry, including manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, construction, investment and finance, the firm said. He has worked on both small- and large-scale utility projects spanning North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, it said.
