Sens. Float Bill To Discourage Cuban Oil Drilling

Law360, New York (November 10, 2011, 2:22 PM ET) -- Worried over Spanish company Repsol YPF's plans to drill in Cuban waters, Sens. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., and Bill Nelson, D-Fla. introduced a bill Tuesday to let Americans directly sue those responsible for foreign oil spills that reach the U.S., though a trade embargo could still complicate cleanup efforts.
