Ameren Will Redraw Hydro Plant's Borders Around Homes

Law360, New York (November 10, 2011, 6:23 PM EST) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Thursday directed Ameren UE to redraw the boundaries of its Osage Hydroelectric Project in Missouri in order to assuage citizens' fears that they might lose homes, patios, decks or boathouses built within the territory.

Ameren will now be required to first determine whether privately-owned and properly permitted structures interfere with the project and then come to an agreement with the property owner as to how to redraw the Osage project's lines.
