Law360, New York (November 10, 2011, 1:55 PM ET) -- Nebraska Furniture Mart Inc., which is owned by Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc., is planning to build a $1.5 billion commercial center in a Dallas suburb, the company said Wednesday.
Nebraska Furniture Mart is working with local officials in the Dallas suburb The Colony to anchor a retail and lodging development that would include stores, restaurants, hotels and a convention center, a spokesperson said Thursday in response to local media reports. The company said it hoped to start construction next year.
