Law360, New York (November 14, 2011, 5:59 PM ET) -- Google Inc. was hit with a complaint Friday in the Federal Trade Commission by a rival Internet search company that claims it unfairly penalizes competitors in search results rankings.
In a letter to the FTC, ShopCity.com Inc. asked the regulator to institute a “serious investigation” against Google for unfairly penalizing rivals by listing its own services above the competition in search results.
