CBS, CNET Sued Again Over LimeWire File-Sharing

Law360, New York (November 15, 2011, 3:05 PM EST) -- A bevy of musicians and filmmakers on Monday followed through on their promise to refile a suit against CBS Interactive Inc. and CNET Networks Inc. accusing the companies of encouraging users of the CNET website to steal songs and other media through the use of LimeWire and other file-sharing tools.

The artist coalition, led by film producer and billionaire founder of FilmOn.com Alki David, said in California federal court that for over a decade CBS and its website had "shamelessly" profited from distributing peer-to-peer software programs...
