Consumer Protection Agency Picks 8 Top Leader Posts

Law360, New York (November 15, 2011, 9:07 PM EST) -- The recently formed U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau announced Tuesday that it had filled eight senior leadership posts, even though the new appointees still don't have a boss.

The agency said it had hired its chief of staff, chief financial officer, chief information officer, principal deputy general counsel and private education loan ombudsman, as well as its assistant directors for legislative affairs, intergovernmental affairs and consumer response.
