Ill. Appeals Court Kills Captive Insurer’s AIG Contract Fight

Law360, Chicago (November 16, 2011, 3:04 PM EST) -- An Illinois appeals court refused to revive Mount Mansfield Insurance Group Inc.'s breach of contract suit against American International Group Inc. and several affiliates Tuesday, finding the captive insurance company had failed to show it reached its agreements with legitimate agents of AIG.
