Trust Avoids Injunction In $350M Life Insurance Row

Law360, New York (November 17, 2011, 4:09 PM ET) -- A New York federal judge on Wednesday refused to impose injunctive relief against a West Indies-based trust requested by a religious organization that alleges the trust owes it more than $350 million under a life insurance policy purchase agreement.

In his order, U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero did not give any reason for his denial of Kolel Beth Yechiel Mechil of Tartikov Inc.'s request for a preliminary injunction against YLL Irrevocable Trust and the other named defendants.
