Del. Landowner To Fight Order Against Home Development

Law360, New York (November 17, 2011, 6:11 PM EST) -- The owner of a 177-acre site in Delaware said Thursday it would appeal a state judge's order blocking it from building about 290 homes and commercial buildings on the site of a closed golf course in New Castle County.

Superior Court Judge John Parkins ruled from the bench Wednesday that the planned development, which would convert the defunct Pike Creek Golf Course, must be kept as open space.
