White House Pushes For Better Small Biz Contract Data

Law360, New York (November 17, 2011, 4:26 PM EST) -- The White House Office of Management and Budget told government agencies Monday that it was working to streamline the process for reporting procurement data on small-business contract awards, and asked agencies to pay more attention to the quality of small-business data.

“Integrating small business data quality reviews into routine agency processes and procedures will reduce burden on the acquisition work force, facilitate improved acquisition planning and increase data accuracy of awards made to small businesses,” OMB officials said in a memorandum.
