FTC, CFPB Officials Pledge Coordinated Efforts

Law360, Washington (November 17, 2011, 8:24 PM EST) -- Federal Trade Commission member Julie Brill hastened to dispel concerns Thursday about potential turf wars with the newly-minted Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, saying the agencies planned to cooperate on splitting their authority to protect consumers in the financial arena.
