Motorola Accused Of Soliciting Lemko Trade Secrets

Law360, New York (November 17, 2011, 7:40 PM EST) -- Lemko Corp. on Thursday fired the latest shot in a long-running trade secrets battle with rival Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc. with a suit alleging an ex-Lemko engineer used proprietary information to develop cellphone network software for Motorola.

In a complaint filed in Illinois court, Lemko accused Motorola of actively recruiting Xiaohong Sheng in order to gain access to Lemko's source code for its software-based position determining entity system, which uses satellite signals to calculate the location of a cellphone in the event of an emergency call....
