Domino's Hit With Credit Card Receipt Class Action

Law360, Washington (November 18, 2011, 1:27 PM EST) -- A consumer lodged a putative class action against Domino's Pizza Inc. in Illinois court Thursday alleging it violated consumer protection laws by printing the expiration date or more than the last five digits of customers' credit card account numbers on receipts.

Domino's violated the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act, which amended the Fair Credit Reporting Act, in failing to secure its customers' credit card information, Aimee Lipkis alleges.
