Judge May Bar Foreign Plaintiffs From Toyota MDL

Law360, Los Angeles (November 21, 2011, 8:16 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Monday indicated that foreign plaintiffs won't be allowed to join multidistrict litigation against Toyota Motor Corp., which is accused of concealing sudden acceleration defects in its vehicles, maintaining that the plaintiffs lack standing to sue the automaker.
