Boston Market Strikes $3M Deal In OT Action

Law360, New York (November 22, 2011, 4:41 PM EST) -- A group of former Boston Market Corp. workers accusing the company of dodging overtime pay requirements by misclassifying assistant managers as exempt asked a Connecticut federal judge on Monday to approve a $3 million settlement that would resolve their putative class and collective action.

Eric Kehou, Patricia Fernandez, Sherrie Ward and Rahiem Taylor filed a motion and memorandum seeking preliminary approval of the pact, which would cover claims under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as Connecticut and New York state law.
