GAO Calls For New Panel To Review NASA Bid Proposals

Law360, New York (November 22, 2011, 6:21 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office on Tuesday published a decision directing NASA to appoint a new board to evaluate bids for environmental work at a test facility after ruling Navarro Research and Engineering Inc. won the contract with an unfair advantage.

NASA has twice awarded the small business set-aside contract for environmental compliance and restoration work at the White Sands Test Facility in Las Cruces, N.M., to Oak Ridge, Tenn.-based Navarro.
