TechShell Continues Litigation Blitz Over Laptop Cover IP

Law360, New York (November 23, 2011, 6:26 PM ET) -- Laptop cover manufacturer Techshell Inc. on Wednesday accused competitor Osaka Inc. in Florida federal court of infringing patents covering hard laptop cases, making Osaka the latest in a growing list of companies Techshell has targeted for allegedly stealing its intellectual property.

Florida-based Techshell says its U.S. Patent Numbers 7,643,274 and 7,907,400, both entitled "Protective cover for laptop computer," are being infringed.  The company was issued the '274 patent Jan. 5, 2010, and the '400 patent March 15, 2011, according to the complaint.
