Law360, New York (November 29, 2011, 2:18 PM ET) -- Middle-market private equity firm HCP & Co. has delved into the health care sector by taking a controlling stake in Polaris Hospital Co. LLC, a hospital acquisition and development firm, HCP said Tuesday, without disclosing the amount of the investment.
Brentwood, Tenn.-based Polaris, founded by CEO and Board Chairman Kevin D. Lee in 2007, specializes in facilities that provide behavioral health, physical medicine and rehabilitation services.
