Century Cleared Of Liability In Alumina Pollution Suit

Law360, Washington (December 01, 2011, 2:52 PM ET) -- Century Aluminum Co. LLC is not responsible for paying cleanup costs at an alumina refinery that allegedly contaminated natural resources in the U.S. Virgin Islands, a federal judge ruled Wednesday, giving Century its second win in litigation over the contamination.
