Enviros Sue Over FDA Refusal To Provide BPA Docs

Law360, New York (December 1, 2011, 5:32 PM EST) -- An environmental group fighting to ban bisphenol A from food packaging on Tuesday sued the U.S. Food and Drug Administration once again, claiming this time that the agency withheld public records detailing the chemical's health effects.

The Natural Resources Defense Council filed suit in New York federal court, accusing the FDA of not fully responding to its Oct. 14 Freedom of Information Act request.
