Law360, Los Angeles (December 01, 2011, 10:09 PM ET) -- Google asked a Delaware federal court Thursday to dismiss a patent suit over its AdWords service and seeks "severe" sanctions against Walker Digital LLC and the company's counsel from Russ August & Kabat, claiming Walker Digital sued without ever having used the ad service.
The search giant said it had tried in vain to explain to Walker Digital how Google's AdWords technology worked in a series of letters and phone calls earlier this year, claiming Walker Digital mischaracterized how its advertising service worked in the lawsuit....
