Office Depot’s Bid To Duck ZIP Code Action Falls Flat

Law360, New York (December 02, 2011, 7:45 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Thursday tentatively denied Office Depot Inc.’s bid to toss a putative class action claiming the office supply giant illegally collected credit card customers’ ZIP codes, brushing aside its argument that the plaintiffs hadn’t sufficiently stated a claim.
