GM Faces More Action Over "Faulty" Engines

Law360, New York (July 10, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Auto giant General Motors Corp. has been hit with yet another proposed class action over allegedly defective car parts, this time by North Carolina drivers who claim their vehicles are equipped with engines that leak or guzzle coolant.

The first amended complaint was filed Monday on behalf of all residents of the state who bought or leased a 1995 to 2004 model GM vehicle, claiming the Detroit car company was in breach of warranty.
