Utility, US Fight Riverbed Rent Claims In High Court

Law360, New York (December 7, 2011, 7:21 PM EST) -- Lawyers for PPL Montana LLC and the federal government urged the U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday to overturn a ruling that found the company liable for some $49 million in back rent to Montana for operating hydroelectric plants on the state’s rivers.
