Mylan ANDA Sparks Another Effexor Suit

Law360, New York (July 10, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Wyeth has targeted Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. in yet another patent infringement suit involving the blockbuster depression and anxiety treatment Effexor.

In a complaint filed Friday with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, Wyeth alleged that Mylan infringed three of its patents by seeking regulatory approval to sell a generic version of Effexor in the United States.
