Insurer Must Cover $5M Spam Fax Settlement: Mo. Court

Law360, New York (December 5, 2011, 9:07 PM ET) -- A Missouri court on Thursday found Columbia Casualty Co. liable for a $5 million settlement between policyholder HIAR Holding LLC and a class of 10,000 consumers who received spam fax advertising, ruling that the class' alleged injuries were covered by HIAR's insurance policies.
