Ballard Starts Up Capitol Hill Mortgage Banking Practice

Law360, New York (December 5, 2011, 6:00 PM EST) -- Ballard Spahr LLP has added a new mortgage banking practice based in its Washington office, tapping three partners and one associate from Patton Boggs LLP, the firm announced Monday.

Richard Andreano Jr., John Socknat and Michael Waldron, all formerly of Patton Boggs' Washington office, will head up the new group, which will include regulatory lawyers from most of the firm's 13 nationwide offices.
