S&P Names 15 Eurozone Nations In Credit Watch List

Law360, New York (December 5, 2011, 9:06 PM EST) -- Credit rating agency Standard & Poor's Ratings Service put 15 European countries on a watch list Monday, saying there was about a 50 percent chance it would lower the countries' credit ratings in the midst of a continental debt crisis.

“In our view, systemic stress in the eurozone has risen in recent weeks and reached such a level that a review of all eurozone sovereign ratings is warranted,” the agency said in a statement.
