Shook Hardy Loses Last Name Partners Of Acquired IP Boutique

Law360, New York (January 25, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- Veteran intellectual property attorneys William Kircher and Richard Johnson have left Shook Hardy & Bacon to join Blackwell Sanders Peper Martin in Kansas City, stripping Shook Hardy of the last name partners of a boutique it acquired five years ago.

Kircher, 66, has been a practitioner for nearly four decades. He is experienced in national and international intellectual property matters, including litigation, licensing, application drafting, prosecution and counseling, according to Blackwell Sanders. His clients include Bass Pro Shops and Garmin International Inc.
