BP Accused Of More Violations Over Deepwater Spill

Law360, New York (December 7, 2011, 12:42 PM EST) -- Federal offshore drilling regulators hit BP PLC with a new set of citations Wednesday, accusing the oil giant of violating safety regulations ahead of the well blowout that triggered the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement issued BP five incidents of noncompliance for alleged violations connected to operations at the Macondo well.
